Rotatr (“we”) is a volleyball rotation planner for coaches, run by Brett Shumaker, an individual based in Ohio, USA. This policy covers the Rotatr app at app.volleyballrotationplanner.com and this website. Questions: [email protected].
What we collect
- Your account. Your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google. Passwords are handled by our sign-in provider; we never see them.
- Team information you enter. Rosters (player names or jersey numbers and positions), lineups, rotations, match scores, substitutions and stats.
- Purchases. Stripe processes payments. We receive your plan, what you paid and when. We never see or store your full card number.
- Usage. We use Plausible, which counts visits and a few events (like signing up or starting checkout) without cookies and without identifying you.
- Data on your device. Rotatr saves your work in your browser so it works offline. If you use it without an account, your data stays on that device.
Players’ information
Rotatr accounts are for coaches, not players. Coaches decide what player information to enter; first names or jersey numbers are enough. We don’t knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. If you think a child has created an account, email us and we’ll delete it.
Who can see your team
- Coaches you invite as viewers or editors can see that team.
- A live score link can be opened by anyone who has the link. The coach chooses whether play-by-play shows first names, full names or jersey numbers only.
How we use it
To run Rotatr: save and sync your teams across devices, run game mode and live score links, handle billing, answer support email and fix problems. We don’t sell your data or show ads.

Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while you have an account. You can export your data at any time, and you can delete your account in Settings. Deleting it permanently removes your teams, lineups and invites, and cancels any subscription. Stripe keeps payment records as the law requires. Backups may hold deleted data for a limited time.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing [email protected].
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll update the date above and tell signed-in coaches in the app.
